This journal is published by the LITHUANIAN STUDIES SOCIETY (LSS) at the University of Tasmania. The Society is a non-profit group of students devoted to making people aware of Lithuania and its heritage. The Society encourages graduate research, at the University of Tasmania and elsewhere, on all topics linked with Lithuania. The Society offers two scholarships every year and, in addition to Lithuanian Papers, publishes books on Lithuania and its people. 3
